How realistic are our top 4 prospects?
I know we are away like fairies with the cup and yes, I'd prefer the cup over top 4 before you ask but I think we really have a great chance for top 4, with or without the cup.

Man city are very unpredictable, as they have been all season. Plus I've just watched Kompany go off again

Arsenal seem to have the softest of soft underbellies at the moment. Tottenham and Leicester are nailed on.

I really believe we can turn at least one of them over with the games left. I'm more worried about Liverpool as it happens, they seem to be getting it right now and if they win their game in hand they are breathing down our necks.

But I don't think we have anything to fear from Arsenal or the Manchester clubs, in fact I'm sure they fear us more right now.

With players coming back we are now very strong in the run in and I think we will finish in the top four, win sat and it's very interesting indeed!

Arsenal are the more realistic target

West Ham still 10-1 to finish above Man City, who have just lost Kompany and have CL to worry about now.

FMOB leicester have had twice as many pens awarded to them than any other Pl team.

Texas I think we've had 1 penalty.

Also Leicester and sp*rs have had the most decisions go their way.

Sp*rs have also had their woodwork rattled the most. Lucky cunts

Re: How realistic are our top 4 prospects?
They're very realistic, in as much as we have to play most of the teams around us so it's in our own hands - and given how gutted I was to come away from Old Trafford with a draw, suggests I'm feeling pretty confident going in to most games nowadays.

That said, I'm not too fussed by it, important to keep our feet on the ground and remember where we came from - it's been a great season regardless of what happens from here on in.

If we win Saturday, I think I'll start believing anything's possible.

About time Spurs...Leicester...Arsenal...City lost some of their key players for a few weeks like we have...

And we need to get a few more penalties in key games...

FFS Leicester have had 10 in the Prem so far...

Re: How realistic are our top 4 prospects?
I would still say unlikely, but of course very possible. We are up against Man City, Man U and probably Liverpool...that's a big ask to finish above all 3. Also think the cup could be a distraction. IMO most likely finish 5th or 6th.

Re: How realistic are our top 4 prospects?
Probably about a one-in-three chance of finishing in the top four.

Whilst some may well cunt me off for saying this however, I reckon that we'd be better off with the Europa League next season that the Champions League.

So, unless it's us in fourth with Spurs in fifth (i.e. we deny them the Champions League), I'm not that fussed about top four this season. Even if a top four finish would be a nice two-finger salute to the "respect the point" Dudley Dud.

We are going to come 3rd and we are going to win the cup.

Its going to happen.

Re: How realistic are our top 4 prospects?
I'd be more than happy to keep our fifth spot, and incredibly disappointed if we don't stay above Liverpool, ManU and Chelsea.

But one more scalp (Arsenal or ManC) and one more place would be amazing. It really is so close between 3rd down to 6th place in the table (7th if Liverpool win their game in hand).

Exciting times.

I usually hate the international breaks but I think the one coming up is perfect for us. we can hopefully nick at least a point against the scum at the weekend and then have over a week to rest players and hopefully get back ginge and tomkins

It would be a fairy tale season for us Liverpool, Leicester and damn it even spurs to take the top 4 over the other usual suspects. We'd best brace ourselves for tottenham winning the league. I'm in no mood to feel bitter, I'm enjoying our story too much to worry about them gloating. But apart from obviously seeing us taste some big time, I would love to see what woukd happen if those sacred clubs missed out for a season or two in the CL.

Re: How realistic are our top 4 prospects?
From an outsider/neutral perspective, for us Leicester and spurs to all qualify at the expense of Chelsea Man U and either Arsenal or city would be just brilliant

Obviously I hope Spurs fuck it all up

Re: How realistic are our top 4 prospects?
Even when we've been pretty shit, over the decades, I've always fancied us to win any given match; half ironically, enjoying te feeling before reality spoils it, but half genuinely.

Now though, for the first time since 85/86, and perhaps even more so, I see us doing anyone we play, with objective reason, surprised if we don't turn up.

This season has been so rich already, that we really couldn't grumble if we went out the cup and missed out on top 4, because we've been so good.

With no ironic optimism at all, I say if we avoid injuries for this run in, then we will have more than a decent chance of doing this; I'm almost certain of it.

Re: How realistic are our top 4 prospects?
Red eye
I think I read that one country can have no more than 5 teams in the CL so if the mickeys and city won it and we finished 4th we'd be fucked but if one or the other wins it 4th would still get CL

Get Reid back, Sakho fully fit and avoid injuries and I reckon we could be in for a champions league and FA cup final.

Glorious.

Re: How realistic are our top 4 prospects?
We are bang in the mix and if we were to win sat I'd actually really fancy us....I reckon we need to win 6 from 9 probably 4 at home and we'd have to beat the goon and man Utd

Would be great if us and the mickeys slipped in.....imagine Chelsea man Utd man city and the goon not getting into the top four sky and BT would fucking implode and they've spent about a billion between them on players would be absolutely great for the game
